In may we celebrated my dear sweet friend, Heather's, bachelorette party in Sin Cityyyy! the weekend was perfect.. I will direct you over to a lovely post Sarah made about it here since I forgot my stinkin camera. I do have a few iphone pics and some (read: one) I got off facebook.

playing catch up: (1) Fam visit//End of April

((Since I have seriously been slackin on the bloggin I'm going to do a little catch up series!  We've been busy with visitors and a couple trips to Vegas and one quick trip to Florida for a beautiful beach wedding.))

I did a little post when my mom, steppy, and brother arrived but never finished...

The Royal Wedding started at 1am here. so while most sane people just DVR'd it (I did, but just for mom. and to watch it as much as possible, duh) I set my alarm for 1, turned on the live coverage and baked a wedding cake for them. whatever, I'm festive..

ok. this is embarrassing, but it's true. and I know the cake is pretty ghetto with the blue gel frosting and all. it was 1am, people, remember??

anywho. along with royal wedding festivities we did lots of eating out and some hiking/sight seeing. I worked every day they were here (bummmmerrr) but we squeezed in as much as possible!

On their last night we went to Hula's for dinner!

after dinner William was so excited to finally have a "no parents allowed" sleepover where he had big hopes and dreams of "staying up all night" and playing video games til the wee hours.  En route from dinner to the house (like < 5 mins) E and will were acting all crazy and william started laughing so hard which progressed into a coughing fit which progressed into vomit all over the backseat of our car.  I couldn't help but laugh. I mean, it was funny. They're all "la la la.... silly song.... la la la la...having the best time ever.." and bam. vomit. (he was fine) but immediately took a bath, read his book and went to bed. the next day he told mom the only reason he didn't stay up all night was because he "partied too hard". hahahaa. love that kid.

ok, on to working on some more catch up posts. so stay tuned! (oh and I plan on getting to my emails soon, too. thanks for still reading/commenting even though i've sucked at my blog lately!!)

&& it has been one year since I married my most adorable man! so, without anymore bs about how I'm gonna make a wedding post, I'm gonna make a wedding post. but don't worry.. I didn't put much effort in to it. sorry. I will. one of these days, i really will.

oh hello please

helloooo out there, readers! I can't believe how behind i have gotten on all my blog reading/emails/posting! I still have posts that have yet to be done (family trip here, royal wedding annnnd last weekends bachelorette partayy in Vegas!) 

to be honest (and a downer), when my family left i was super emo girl 2011. by the time I shook that, it was off to vegas for a fantabulous time with some wonderful ladies but then got the blues all over again once that was over. wahhhhhh. 

in other news.. I got moved to full time at work and got a little raise! which is exciting and great but I just can't seem to balance out my time management. HALP!!1! I neeeeed/want to be able to work, blog, workout, and cook dinner all in a day. so yeah. i need help with that.

but now, another milspouse friday fill in since i have yet to go through pictures of the events i mentioned above with enough drive to edit and post them!

funny you should ask that. I was just telling E how his 2 homecomings were just as exciting/anticipated/emotional as our wedding. They were all so so soooo great. Having both of your families and all of your friends together for a night is just an incredible feeling. I love pictures of our wedding where we see all of our favorite people mingling who may have never met otherwise. But...  I don't know if there is ever a more joyous moment than seeing the one you love walk off of a plane, fresh (& safe) out of a war-zone. ahhh. makes me misty just thinking of it!

the weather has been so wonderful, i hope it stays!!

mom, steppy & lil bro are coming in about a week and a half, couldn't be more excited to see them!
